Here's my response to the following plea by Chris Hedges:
This column by Hedges is a fine example of a "mind" that can't get with the PRESENT - the environment of the Tech Body.
Every symptom he mentions was prevalent 30 years ago when I announced "everything's disappeared" (thanks to the Android Meme).
I consider my dialogues with Cameron McEwen the fairest and most sympathetic attempt to upgrade his desperate attempt at "consciousness".
I don't think, though, he can make the leap.
He's not only paralyzed by the rear-view mirror but he's not "healthy" enough to survive the perception of the TECH BODY.
I haven't "met" many "people" who are.
But try it again.
