Carolyn Dean & Bob Neveritt | 40 Years in the Wilderness, 2008

Carolyn and Bob land on Maui, almost out of the wilderness, on June 3, 2008.

Six weeks later, SkyGoddess Sue, Carolyn and Bob’s photo-biographer, arrives on Maui to document this momentous shift.

Nine pregnant months after their arrival, iON is evoked by Bob, March 18, 2009—beginning the new hexadic GROUND.

While SkyGoddess Sue is on Maui, Mary McLuhan tells Bob that an important McLuhanite is nearby. David Greenberg, from Los Angeles and presently living on Maui, met Mary and Marshall McLuhan in 1977 and proposed that with his resources he could create a TV series on McLuhan’s ideas for LA TV.

McLuhan, having retired from the University of Toronto, was ready for something new and prepared to spend a lot of time with David in Los Angeles over the next few years. This fact was missed by all of McLuhan’s biographers.

With McLuhan’s stroke on September 26, 1979, David and Marshall’s project was unfortunately derailed. David still lives on Maui but spends a lot of his time as an ecological advisor to China. Here are two of his books:
